Private Music Lessons (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Piano) — Class Policies
Private Lesson Policies
Registration & Enrollment
Enrollment is confirmed once registration is completed and the first payment is received. Lesson times are reserved exclusively for each student and are held on a recurring weekly basis.
Tuition & Payment
Tuition is due at the beginning of each month.
Monthly tuition reserves your student's lesson time and instructor availability.
Payments not received within 7 days of the due date may incur a late fee.
Lessons may be suspended until the account is brought current.
Cancellation Policy
Because lesson times are reserved specifically for each student, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations.
Student Cancellations
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a make-up lesson if scheduling permits.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged as a completed lesson and are not eligible for a make-up lesson.
No-shows will be charged the full lesson fee.
Illness
Please do not attend lessons if your child has:
Fever within the previous 24 hours
Vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours
A contagious illness
If illness prevents attendance and notice is provided as soon as possible, a virtual lesson or make-up lesson may be offered when feasible.
Instructor Cancellations
If the instructor must cancel due to illness, emergency, or scheduling conflict, a make-up lesson or credit will be provided.
Attendance & Punctuality
Students should arrive on time and prepared.
Lessons will end at the scheduled time, even if a student arrives late.
Time lost due to tardiness cannot be extended into another student's lesson.
